Exhibition - Dancing the Skies: Flying through the RHSV collections

Dates: 28 February – 15 April Monday to Friday - 10 am - 4 pm

This Exhibition aims to show the wealth of aviation-related images and other items contained within the Collections of the RHSV. Although the RHSV might not be considered a prime source of aeronautical history, the Society’s Collections are large and comprehensive and can provide coverage of a range of specialist topics. Historical Societies in general can contain hidden gems of specialist interest within their Collections – they just have to be unearthed.

This Exhibition covers many aspects of aeronautical history, almost all Australian, from the earliest days of ballooning up to the early 1960s.

An online exhibition with the same time shows some of the themes from the exhibition at the RHSV -www.historyvictoria.org.au/exhibitions.htm
