This postcard is one of set of 40 recently donated to the RHSV. Titled ‘Victoria – the garden state of Australia’ the set was produced around 1908. The postcards were an advertising tool used by the Victorian Government to encourage migration to Victoria via the Closer Settlement Scheme.     Read more...
